Inviting Team Members

Invite new members to your team via email. Manage pending invitations and control access to your monitoring.Last updated: 2026-02-14

Grow your team by inviting colleagues to collaborate on your monitoring setup. Team members can view monitors, respond to incidents, and help maintain your status pages.

Sending Invitations

To invite a new team member:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Team
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
  4. Click Send Invitation

The invitee will receive an email with a link to join your team. Only users with the Admin or Owner role can send invitations.

Invitation Expiration

Invitations expire after 7 days. If an invitation expires before the recipient accepts it, you'll need to send a new one.

Managing Pending Invitations

View all pending invitations in Settings > Team under the Pending Invitations section. For each invitation, you can see:

  • The email address
  • When the invitation was sent
  • When it expires

Revoking an Invitation

To cancel a pending invitation:

  1. Find the invitation in the Pending Invitations list
  2. Click the Revoke button
  3. Confirm the action

Once revoked, the invitation link becomes invalid and the recipient can no longer use it to join your team.

Copying the Invitation Link

If you need to share the invitation link directly (for example, through a different communication channel):

  1. Find the invitation in the Pending Invitations list
  2. Click Copy Link
  3. Share the copied link with your invitee

The link remains valid until the invitation expires or is revoked.

Accepting an Invitation

When someone accepts an invitation:

  1. They click the link in their email (or the shared link)
  2. They sign in or create an account if they don't have one
  3. They're automatically added to your team as a Member

New members receive the Member role by default. An Admin or Owner can change their role after they join. See Team Members to learn what each role can do.
