Grow your team by inviting colleagues to collaborate on your monitoring setup. Team members can view monitors, respond to incidents, and help maintain your status pages.

## Sending Invitations

To invite a new team member:

1. Open <ui>Settings</ui> in the sidebar
2. Under **Members**, click <ui>Invite Member</ui>
3. Enter the <ui>Email Address</ui> of the person you want to invite
4. Click <ui>Invite Member</ui>

The invitee will receive an email with a link to join your team. Only Admins and the Owner can send invitations.

## Invitation Expiration

The **Expires** column shows a date 7 days after each invitation was sent, and <ui>Expired</ui> once that date passes. The date is a reminder to follow up: the link keeps working until it is accepted or you revoke it.

## Managing Pending Invitations

View all pending invitations in <ui>Settings</ui> under **Pending Invitations**. For each invitation, you can see:

- The email address
- When it expires

### Revoking an Invitation

To cancel a pending invitation:

1. Find the invitation in the **Pending Invitations** list
2. Open its <ui>Actions Menu</ui> and choose <ui>Revoke Invite</ui>
3. Confirm the action

Once revoked, the invitation link becomes invalid and the recipient can no longer use it to join your team.

### Copying the Invitation Link

If you need to share the invitation link directly (for example, through a different communication channel):

1. Find the invitation in the **Pending Invitations** list
2. Open its <ui>Actions Menu</ui> and choose <ui>Copy Invite Link</ui>
3. Share the copied link with your invitee

The link remains valid until it is accepted or the invitation is revoked.

## Accepting an Invitation

When someone accepts an invitation:

1. They click the link in their email (or the shared link)
2. They sign in or create an account if they don't have one
3. They're automatically added to your team as a **Member**

New members receive the **Member** role by default. An Admin or Owner can change their role after they join. See [Team Members](/docs/team/members) to learn what each role can do.
